Non-Conformity
Non-conformity is a big tenant is Transcendentalism because it shows one of the biggest messages that Transcendentalism sends out, "STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF". Whether it be through: nature, spirituality, or just plain doing what makes you happy.
I chose this picture because it shows that the zebra wasn't happy being like everyone else. He found that he wants to be different and that will give him peace. It is very important to be happy with yourself no matter who you look or dress like.

I really like the picture you chose and I think it goes perfect with what your saying. One must come to peace with oneself before they can be truly happy.
