Free Thought

One of my favorite free thought quotes would have to be "Dare to think for yourself". Why, because in this day in age we are killing free thought. Youth no longer thinks for themselves. They rely on technology and never themselves.

Non-Conformity

Non-conformity is a big tenant is Transcendentalism because it shows one of the biggest messages that Transcendentalism sends out, "STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF". Whether it be through: nature, spirituality, or just plain doing what makes you happy.

I chose this picture because it shows that the zebra wasn't happy being like everyone else. He found that he wants to be different and that will give him peace. It is very important to be happy with yourself no matter who you look or dress like.

Transcendentalism shows nature at its finest. It shows the beauty and freedom of the natural world. In today's society you cant be free without judgement and conflict. Nature shows that you can always be yourself and let your natural beauty in yourself and others.
